About Flight For Life Stories
These stories, written by former patients, family, friends and Flight For Life staff, give the reader a glimpse into the challenges and triumphs that the patients we have transported face on their path to recovery.
Providing patients a chance at survival is a team effort by highly trained and skilled pre-hospital and hospital personnel. Once that patient is discharged, the real work of recovery begins.
Why a blog?
We developed this blog to give our former patients, their family and friends as well as Flight For Life staff a place to share incredible and many times emotional stories about the illness or accident that changed their lives.
Their stories may offer hope and inspiration to others who are on their own journey to recovery. They can also be a means of education and information to all who read them. In the end, they stand as a testament to the power of the human spirit and how important our support system is in our lives. We hope you enjoy reading about our "family" of patients.
Flight For Life is made up of mechanics, flight nurses, pilots, flight paramedics, communication specialists, medical directors, administrative and IT personnel; all dedicated to the patients and communities we serve.
